When she was younger, she was a girl that was much like her friend Bisjou. She got good grades, listened to her parents. She was a good girl that had a lot going for her. She was popular in school and was on the cheerleading squad. That all changed in the blink of an eye.

At a game where she was cheering and watching her boyfriend on the field, she was doing a pyramid where she was on the top. Her vision started to blur while she was at the top and despite the smile on her face, the whole world started to turn black. She was rushed to the emergency room where it was later found out after many test and such that she had a rare form of heart cancer. Originally thought as Cardiac Fibrosis, they started do what they could, however there was no hope as the treatments offered to treat cancer could in fact cause more damage to the heart then there originally was.

Harmony decided against radiation, figuring if she was going to die? She was going to do it her way. She was going to live her life to the fullest that she could before it claimed her life. In essence she gave up hope, which intitally broke Bisjou's heart. However, now she is going to visit Bisjou in New York City in hopes of living her life up one last time and having fun. She doens't tell anyone about her problem, she doesn't think it's anyone's concern. She doesn't want their pity and doesn't need it.

Her view is that she's going to have fun. She wants to try anything once if it happens to come her way.
